Nigel Paulet, 18th Marquess of Winchester

Nigel George Paulet, 18th Marquess of Winchester ( born December 23, 1941) is a British peer and due to the age of the title of the highest ranking Marquess in the Peerage of England. He inherited the title in 1968 by his cousin Richard Paulet, 17th Marquess of Winchester. He was on March 5, 1968 to November 11, 1999 Member of the House of Lords, ie he lost his seat by the House of Lords Act 1999.

Winchester now lives in South Africa.

He married on November 25, 1967 Rosemary Anne Hilton, with whom he has two sons and one daughter, one of which is the eldest son of the prospective heir ( Prince ):

• Lord Richard George Paulet ( born August 16, 1971)
• Lady Susan Paulet ( b. 1976 )
