Laurel and Hardy as a burglar is an American short film comedy of the comedian duo Laurel & Hardy. The film had its U.S. theatrical release on January 4, 1930 German Cinema Original Air Date was only in the 70s.

Action

The police chief is angry about the many burglaries lately and accused the officer Kelley of incompetence. In order to convince the boss of it, that he has grown his responsibility, committed Kelley Stan and Ollie, two tramps, as burglars. They should break the police chief while he described as " brave policeman " in this would then again reputation. During this turbulent Clous happen a lot of things, ranging from crossing the garden wall. Due to the inability of the two Stans lock themselves after successful penetration into the house again and again and have to start from scratch. Finally, they get both to the electric piano, following which plays loud by itself. Awakened by the noise storm the police chief and his Butler Meadows into the living room. Stan and Ollie can escape in time, while Kelley bursts at exactly the wrong moment in the house and he gives the impression that he was behind the burglary.
