Nightcrawlers (band)

The Nightcrawlers are a British house music project of producer, DJ and vocalist John Reid Robinson ( born September 6, 1967 in Glasgow ), along with Hugh Jew Brankin, Ross Campbell and Graham McMillan Wilson.

Career

John Reid was formed in the late 1980s along with Roy Hay, formerly of Culture Club, the duo This Way Up, before he worked as a songwriter for Bad Boys Inc. and Eternal. His dance project Nightcrawlers he founded the early 90s. The breakthrough came in 1993 with the second song "Push the Feeling On", the number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 and took 15 weeks remained in the charts. In the UK Singles Chart the original version only finished 22 The big success came there only two years later with the MK Mixes for '95 by Marc Kinchen, which rose in the UK to position 3 and put Europe in the Top Ten could. From then on, they were renamed as Nightcrawlers featuring John Reid. The follow-up single Surrender Your Love could build on the success and brought more charts placements, among other things, it was the second Top Ten hit in the UK. But then allowed the international interest gradually more Top 40 hits such as Do not Let the Feeling Go, Let's Push It, Should I Ever ( Fall in Love ) and Keep On Pushing Our Love, a collaboration with singer Alysha Warren limited, primarily to their home.

Then it was quiet around the Nightcrawlers, which again came back with Never Knew Love in the charts only in 1999. The Dance Classic Push The Feeling On 2003 came up again in a new remix and in 2012 a new recording of Glamrock Brothers with the Sunloverz in the German charts. A mix of Rosabel & JCA brought the song in 2004 to # 1 on the Dance / Club Play Songs chart in the United States. A comeback attempt by the Nightcrawlers in 2011 with the single Cryin ' over You supported by Taio Cruz was unsuccessful.
