Nikita Pivtsakin

Nikita Vasilyevich Piwzakin (Russian: Никита Васильевич Пивцакин; * July 23, 1991 in Omsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with Avangard Omsk in the Continental HK Hockey League since 2009.

Career

Nikita Piwzakin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK Avangard Omsk, for the first team, he made his debut in the Kontinental Hockey League in the 2009/10 season. In his rookie year, he remained no points in 19 games and won two penalty minutes. In parallel, he played for the junior team Avangard Omsk of HK in the junior league MHL. Since the season 2010/11 the defender belongs to the root cadres of HK Avangard.

Internationally

For Russia Piwzakin took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2009 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 2010 and 2011. In the 2009 U18 World Championships, he won the silver at the 2011 U20 World Championship gold medal with his team.
