Niklas Almqvist

Nicholaus Arson ( born January 26, 1977 in Fagersta, Sweden; born Niklas Almqvist ) is a Swedish lead guitarist and backing vocalist.

He is a member of the Swedish punk mod indie group The Hives and he is the older brother of Pelle Almqvist, the lead singer of the group.

Arson and his brother Pelle formed the group in 1993. Due to an article in the New Musical Express and one appearing in the files of the Swedish secret police article that describes the name of Randy Fitzsimmons as a pseudonym of Nicholaus Arson, and because the group repeatedly stated, that Randy Fitzsimmons was the promoter, financial backer and songwriter of the band, many believed that all of these functions would be performed by Nicholaus Arson. Arson is known for his creativity and his unusual activities on the stage.
