Nikola Prkačin

Nikola Prkačin (* November 15, 1975 in Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia) is a Croatian professional basketball player who plays at a height 2.08 m on the position of power forward.

His career began at Prkačin Pomorac Dubrovnik where he played until 1993. After a stint at KK Split Prkačin moved in 1998 to Cibona Zagreb where he won his first professional title in the following years. 1999, the first players moved abroad and for Turkish club Beşiktaş Istanbul tradition, but remained there only for a few weeks and returned still early in the season again to Cibona Zagreb back. After additional titles in his home Prkačin changed as freshly baked double winners 2003 Turkish champions Efes Pilsen where he was under contract until 2007 and won four titles. After a six year stay in Russia for Dynamo Moscow Prkačin was in January 2008, committed by the current ULEB Euro League winners Panathinaikos Athens after the Serb Dejan Tomasevic there had been canceled due to injury.

As a member of the Croatian national team Prkačin participated in five European championships between 1997 and 2005.
