Nikolai Vogel

Nikolai Vogel ( born January 10, 1971 in Munich) is a German writer.

Life

Nikolai Vogel attended a Gymnasium in Landsberg / Lech. After high school he studied modern German literature, philosophy and computer science at the University of Munich. He completed this study are awarded the degree of Master of Arts. He then worked as a web developer and author. In 1993 he founded together with Kilian Fitzpatrick the Black Ink Publishing.

Nikolai Vogel was with Ulrich Bauer- RODS co-founder of the "Munich sea readings " that took place from 1996 to 2000 on the Kleinhesseloher Lake in the English Garden in Munich. In 2004, Bird at the Berlin competition "Open Mike" and in 2005 at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt part.

Nikolai Bird has supervised and text- critical electronic versions of Robert Musil and Goethe, as well as Internet - editions of Rilke and Paul Scheer beard in addition to working on his own literary texts. Since 2004 he leads the weblog nachwort.de the internet.

Nikolai Vogel was honored in 1997 with the Culture Prize of the district of Landsberg / Lech and 2007 with the Bavarian Kunstförderpreis.
