Nikolay Morilov

Nikolai Sergeyevich Morilow (Russian Николай Сергеевич Морилов; born August 11, 1986 in Perm ) is a Russian cross-country skiers.

Nikolai Morilow debuted internationally in December 2003 in the Continental Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2004 in Stryn he won the bronze medal over 10 kilometers, with the relay. In December 2004 Morilow was first used in the World Cup in Bern. The sprint specialist was 36th in the sprint and twelfth in the team sprint. In the aftermath of the Russian commuted between World Cup, FIS races and Continental Cup. In Sapporo Mirolow launched for the first time at a Nordic World Ski Championships. In the sprint, he was 20, he won in the team sprint with Vasily Rotschew behind Renato Pasini and Cristian Zorzi the silver medal. The 2007/08 season began pleasing to the Russians in Dusseldorf he reached the sixth place in the sprint. At the Tour de Ski 2007/2008 he was able to record a stage win, where he won the sprint in Prague. At the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver Morilow won the bronze medal in the team sprint with Petukhov.
