Nikolay Yazykov

Nikolai Mikhailovich Yazykovs (Russian Николай Михайлович Языков; * 4 Märzjul / March 16 1803greg in Simbirsk, .. .. † December 26 1846jul / January 7 1847greg in Moscow) was a Russian poet.

Life

Yazykovs came in 1815 in the Mountain Institute in St. Petersburg and then entered the engineer corps, but from which he retired to literary employment of inclination after one year. He was a member of the Russian Baltic Corps Ruthenia Dorpat.
