Nikoli

Nikoli (Japaneseニコリnikori ) is a Japanese publishing company that specializes in logical puzzles and publishes books and the quarterly journal Puzzle Communication Nikoli (also commonly known under the name Nikoli ). Nikoli was known by the success of the number puzzle Sudoku world.

The specialty of Nikoli are puzzles that work independent of language and culture. During a crossword puzzle is always tied to a language, this is not for number puzzles and geometric puzzles.

Nikoli published, among others, the following riddle: lighting, Fillomino, Hashiwokakero, Heyawake, Hitori, Kakuro, Kuromasu, Nurikabe, Masyu, Shikaku, Sudoku and Suriza.
