Nikša Kaleb

Nikša Caleb ( born March 9, 1973 in Metković ) is a former Croatian handball player.

Nikša Caleb, who recently played for the Croatian series champion RK Zagreb and the Croatian aground Men's national handball team, was mostly used on the left wing.

Nikša Caleb began with the handball game at RK Metković Jambo in his hometown. Here he made his debut in the first Croatian league. Although he never made it with his club to come over in the Championship Series champion RK Zagreb, however, for he won the 2000 and 2001 Croatian Cup in 2000 and the EHF Cup; In 2001 he moved again to the final of this competition. 2004, however, he succumbed to the wooing of the series Master Zagreb and joined the Brussels residents. With the RK Zagreb he won in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, the national championship and the cup. 2008 Caleb finished his career.

Nikša Caleb has denied in his active career with 79 caps for the Croatian men's national handball team. On his land he was at the Men's Handball World Championship for Men 2003 World Championship in Portugal, at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 Olympic champion. He also took part in the Men's Handball World Championship for Men in Germany in 2007, finished with Croatia but only the 5th Place. In the European Handball Championship 2008 in Norway, he was with his countryman European vice-champion.
