Nina Shtanski

Nina Viktorovna Schtanski (Russian Нина Викторовна Штански; born April 10, 1977 in Tiraspol ) is a Transnistrian politician and since 24 January, Foreign Minister of their country.

Life and career

The native Tiraspolerin studied law at the Transnistrian State Taras Shevchenko University in her hometown. From 2002 to 2009 she worked as a consultant in the Transnistrian parliament. Shortly after the Transnistrian presidential election in late 2011, she was appointed under the newly elected President Yevgeny Shevchuk Minister of Foreign Affairs of their country. The end of 2012, she completed her thesis on possible solutions to resolve the Transnistrian conflict.

Nina Schtanski has a daughter.
