Nino D'Angelo

Nino D' Angelo, actually Gaetano D' Angelo, ( born June 21, 1957 in San Pietro a Patierno in Naples, Italy ) is an Italian singer, composer and actor.

Life

D'Angelo's music is heard throughout Italy and beyond its borders, even though he sings in Neapolitan dialect mainly. Among his most famous titles include " Senza giacca e cravatta " and " Nu jeans e na maglietta ". In Naples, he is regarded as a folk hero. As followers of Napoli he dedicated to the club and the city of Naples, a love anthem, which is still sung on the streets by children and adults ( Forza Napoli). In 1999 he published his biography " L' ignorant intelligent".

D' Angelo began as a singer at weddings and other celebrations and was successfully equal with his first LP in 1976. Five years later he began under director Ninì Grassia a steady career as a film actor, where he regularly appeared at the beginning of the 1990s melodramas and comedies, films that made him enough space to present some songs. Several times, he also worked with director Alfonso Brescia and later Mariano Laurenti.
