Nishinoumi Kajirō III

Nishinoumi Kajiro III. (Japanese西ノ海 嘉治郎(三代 目), prop, Matsuyama Isesuke (松山 伊 势 助; born November 2, 1890 in Kagoshima, † 1933 ) was a Japanese Sumōkämpfer Yokozuna and the third of that name.

Nishinoumi, a rikishi of the stable Izutsu - Beya, began his career at the age of 20 years and was initially known under the ring name Genjiyama. At the Hatsu Basho - in January 1915, he managed to climb into the sekitori - finishes, and a year later he moved to the Makuuchi Division ago. 1923 Nishinoumi who got transferred its name in honor of two previous Grand Master, was promoted to yokozuna. Nishinoumi could still recorded only one tournament victory of his career. In October 1928 he resigned from his post.
