Nishitōkyō, Tokyo

Nishitōkyō (Japanese西 东京 市, -shi, literally: " West Tōkyō " ) is a city located in Tokyo west of Tokyo.

The city was founded on 21 January 2001 as a merger of the cities Hoya and Tanashi.
