Niška Banja

Niska Banja is a neighborhood of Niš in Serbia. The place is spatially separated about eight kilometers east of the center of Niš.

Situated at the foot of the mountain Suva Planina heard the place next to the Vrnjačka Banja and Sokobanja of the most famous spas in Serbia. In the area of the place there's sources of water containing radon, which is used for the Radonbalneologie.

Known and used the place was since Roman times. In the 2nd century to have been built here the first medicinal pools.

Traffic

North of the center of Niska Banja extend the main corridors of traffic from Serbia to Bulgaria and on to Istanbul. Specifically, the the under construction motorway Nis - Dimitrovgrad as part of the European Route 75 and the railway line Nis - Pirot -Sofia are.
