Nisreen Faour

Nisreen Faour ( نسرين فاعور; born August 2, 1972 in Tarschicha ) is a Palestinian actress and director.

Biography

Nisreen Faour was born in Tarschicha and grew up as the daughter of a family who fled from Dschalin, which was in 1948 conquered and destroyed. In her youth she was active in school and participated in a delegation to the United States. during the years 1991 to 1994 she studied at the Theatre Academy in Tel -Aviv, in 2006, she studied directing at the University of Haifa. In 2008, she studied yoga in India. Faour works in Arabic and English, but not in Hebrew, although she is fluent in Hebrew.

Theater

First Faour played in various Palestinian theaters, such as " al- shuruk ", "bet- Al- Karma ", " Al- Midan ". Among other things, she starred in the plays " Fear and Misery of the Third Reich ", " Don Quixote ". They played an outstanding role in the monodrama " A happy woman " by Dario Fo and Franca Rame, directed by Kamel Basha.
