No Connection (band)

No Connection is an English rock band, founded in Reading in 1997. It continues the tradition of AC / DC, Aerosmith, Public Enemy and some other bands. Their music is characterized by the most powerful guitar melodies and at times reminiscent of rap vocals.

History

The band was founded in May 1997 by Graham Young, Simon " Steele " Whenlock and Jon Hill, the members of the band are up to today. We wanted to combine the numerous, very different influences from various rock genres with socially critical lyrics. Initial success at concerts around Reading led to the recording of the first album Justified and for publication on the site MP3.com on 1 January 2000.

International in 2000, the band became known as a California radio station took up the group in its program and stayed for over a month at number one in the transmitter's internal charts. A year later, an appearance in Los Angeles was followed in January 2001.

Since then the band is mainly in the UK and in the U.S. on tour, where they are often played on various stations.

Trivia

  • The band's name was supposedly because the three friends about the lack of radio network were upset in their hometown.
  • The two songs Is not Foolin and Love for Free stood at # 1 on the " Classic Rock" charts the site MP3.com, where they were also " Artist of the Day"
