Nocera Umbra

Nocera Umbra is a town with 5882 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Perugia, in the Umbria region, central Italy. It is located in the natural park of Monte Subasio. In the district of Monte Pennino Bagnara springs from the river Topino.

Geography

The municipality consists of the villages Acciano, Africa, Aggi, Bagnara, Bagni, Boschetto, Boschetto Basso, Capannacce, Casa Paoletti, Casa Luna, Case, Case Basse, Castiglioni, Castrucciano, Cellerano, Colle, Colle Croce, Colpertana, Colsaino, Gaifana, Isola, La Costa, Lanciano, Largnano, Le Moline, Maccantone, Mascionchie, Molina, Sorbello, Montecchio, Mosciano, Nocera Scalo, Nocera Umbra Stazione, Pettinara, Ponte Parrano, Schiagni, Sorifa, Villa di Postignano and Ville Santa Lucia.

The neighboring municipalities are Assisi, Fabriano (AN), Fiuminata (MC ), Foligno, Gualdo Cattaneo, Serravalle di Chienti (MC ), and Valfabbrica Valtopina.
