Nocturnal house

A noctarium ( from Latin nox = night) is a zoological institution in which one can observe nocturnal animals.

This is done by either using the day and night are reversed in a noctarium ( lighting technical), or by there always exists an artificial night, as in a natural cave.

In Germany, opened in early March 2006, a noctarium for the observation of bats in Noctalis in Bad Segeberg. In the citadel of Besançon ( France) is located has long been a noctarium, in which various types of nocturnal rodents to see.
