Norðdepil
Norðdepil [no ː ɹ ˌ de ː pɪl ] ( Danish spelling: Norddeble ) is a place of the Faroe Islands on the island Borðoy, which belongs to the region of the northern islands.

Norðdepil was founded in 1866. 1895 opened the school, and from 1897 to 1912 here was a whaling station.
Norðdepil is connected since 1963 by a causeway with the place Hvannasund on Viðoy. Since it is located on the opposite bank, and Norðdepil Hvannasund are often seen as a place.
Two tunnel Norðdepil is connected to the regional " capital " Klaksvík since 1967. On the east coast Borðoys along a road leads Múli. In Norðdepil is the only one traffic light north of the islands.
