Norma Farber First Book Award
The Norma Farber First Book Award is awarded annually since 1994 by the Poetry Society of America ( PSA) "for a first book of original poetry written by an American and published in Either a hard or soft cover in a standard edition falling on the calendar year".
The poetry prize was donated by the family and friends of the poet Norma Farber. A copy of the awarded with the price of books to be sent to the PSA supporting members. The award is valued at $ 500 prize money.
