Norman Hall

Norman Hall (* November 17, 1829 in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, † September 29, 1917 in Sharon, Pennsylvania ) was an American politician. Between 1887 and 1889 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Norman Hall attended until 1847 the Dickinson College in Carlisle. He then worked in the iron industry. Politically, he joined the Democratic Party. In the congressional elections of 1886, he was in the 26th electoral district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Republican George Washington Fleeger on March 4, 1887.

By March 3, 1889 Hall was able to complete a term in Congress. After his time in the U.S. House of Representatives, he worked for some time in the banking industry. Then he withdrew into retirement. He died on September 29, 1917 in Sharon.
