Norman Johnson (mathematician)
Norman Johnson ( born November 12, 1930) is an American mathematician.
Johnson was born in 1966 his doctorate at the University of Toronto at HSM Coxeter ( The theory of uniform polytopes and honeycombs ). He was professor of mathematics at Wheaton College in Norton (Massachusetts ).
He listed 1966 Johnson - body (Johnson solids) on 92 convex non-uniform polytopes with regular pages. Victor Zalgaller 1969 proved their completeness, Johnson had suspected.
He is not with the geometry specialist Norman L. Johnson ( born 1939 ), professor at the University of Iowa, or the statistician Norman Lloyd Johnson to be confused ( 1917-2004 ).
