Norman Langen
Norman Langen ( born March 7, 1985 in Wuerselen - Bardenberg ) is a German pop singer who is looking through his participation in the TV casting show Germany the Superstar in 2011 became known. With his debut album Pure gold long peaked at number eleven of the German sales charts.
Career
Norman Long was born in Ubach- Palenberg nearby hospital Bardenberg and now lives there all near Geilenkirchen. He has three sisters. His parents separated when Norman Langen was five years old. Norman Long is a certified welder and works by retraining as caregivers for dementia patients in a closed geriatric psychiatry facility. After further training he performed in this facility honorary life care.
2000 was a Norman Langen part of the music group The Crew and background singer in " TAMO ". In 2002 he went into the boy band bexcess, which was later renamed in Manhattan. His stage name was at that time " Sam G'erome ". 2002 was Norman Langen in Theater Aachen two years vocal training. In 2009 he separated from his band to perform solo under his real name " Norman Langen ". In 2011, Norman Langen on the eighth season of the talent show Germany sucht den Superstar, the RTL aired from January to May 2011 part. There he sang mainly German titles hit the likes of Jürgen Drews, DJ Ötzi and Wolfgang Petry and reached audience voting seventh of the show.
For Norman Langen followed directly after the show, a variety of live performances such as TV, in clubs or at big events. For Koch / Universal in mid 2011 he took his first studio album Pure gold, which mainly came up next to its own four pieces with new interpretations of known pop pieces.
So Norman Langen covert among other titles from Blue System, Wolfgang Petry and Jürgen Drews. Jürgen Drews and Olaf Henning are listening to Norman Langen Pures Gold debut album as a guest vocalist. Both the album Pure Gold as well as the previously out-coupled as a single title track Norman Langen succeeded in entering the Top 50 of the German and the Austrian Top 75 charts. The second album, 100% Norman was published on January 4, 2013. It also went into the Top 100 of the German and the Austrian Top 100 charts.
Beginning in March 2014 changed Long before the release of a third album for the label Ariola.
