Norman Ollestad
Norman Ollestad (* May 30, 1967 ) is an American writer.
Ollestad was born the son of Norman [A 1] and Doris Ollestad and grew up in a hippie enclave on a beach in the south of Malibu. The father called the son " Boy Wonder " - perhaps because of the age of eleven Southern California youth champion in downhill skiing. In addition, the father coached the boy as a hockey player and surfers. 1979, the father died in a plane crash. The tragedy gave the son of the substance to the bestselling " Addicted to the storm ." The book was published in 2009. Fischer The German edition brought out a year later.
In 2006 Ollestad had begun work on his success text and previously studied creative writing at the University of California, Los Angeles [A 2].
The author is married. Together with his son, the couple lives in Venice in Los Angeles.
