North Denmark Region

The Nordjylland Region ( German: Region North Jutland ) in Denmark includes North Jutland, Vendsyssel -Thy islands, Mors and Læsø and the municipality Mariagerfjord. Seat of administration is Aalborg.

The region is also the same Landsdel Nordjylland.

Formation

The regions dissolved in 2007, the Danish office districts ( Amtskommuner ) as administrative districts from. The Nordjylland region of the former North Amt, the parts of Viborg Office, the north lay the Limfjord (including the villages of this island Mors ), and that part of the Mariager commune in Århus Amt, who slammed the Mariagerfjord municipality was formed.

The political committee of the Nordjylland region is the Regional Council, chaired by the Social Democrat Orla Hav The Regional Council has 41 seats:
