North Sydney Council

North Sydney is located on the north side of Sydney Harbour at the north end of the Harbour Bridge towards the City Centre Sydney City. The area includes 26 districts: Balls Head, Berrys Bay, Blues Point, Cammeray, Cremorne North, Cremorne Point, HMAS Platypus HMAS Waterhen, Kirribilli, Kurraba Point, Lavender Bay, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, McMahons Point, Milsons Point, Neutral Bay, Neutral Bay Junction, North Sydney, North Sydney Shopping World, Waverton and parts of Cremorne, Cremorne Junction, Crows Nest, Mosmans Bay, Naremburn, St Leonards and Wollstonecraft. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the district of North Sydney in the south of the LGA.

You can explore the museum at Mary MacKillop Place, Don Bank Museum, Greenwood Plaza Shopping Complex, the North Sydney Railway Station, the North Sydney Oval, the Stanton Library and St Mary's Cathedral. In Kirribilli district are the Kirribilli House, the residence of the Australian Prime Minister, and the Admiralty House, the residence of the Governor General of Australia, provided they reside in Sydney. In addition, located in Kirribilli also the seat of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.

Management

The North Sydney Council has 13 members, who are elected by the residents of the LGA. The three members are from the four Wards Cremorne, Tunks, Victoria and Wollstonecraft, the chairman and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the LGA. The four electoral districts are defined independently of the city.
