Northern Cyprus national football team

The nordzyprische national football team is not recognized by the football associations, UEFA and FIFA football selection. North Cyprus is a member of the NF- Board, the Football Association for teams that are members of FIFA are not.

History

Already since 1955, there is a Cypriot Football Federation. Today, football is one in Northern Cyprus to the most popular sports in the country. There is a 1 ( Telsim Superliga) and 2nd league, as well as several minor leagues.

Current squad

The specified squad includes the national players who were in the squad for the Viva World Cup 2012.

Achievements

On 29 May 2006, the nordzypriotische selection in Hamburg was under the FIFI Wild Cup several games against teams like Zanzibar and Greenland, which they won all. As the host team of the ELF Cup in Northern Cyprus Nordzyprioten won their second title in 2006.
