NorthStar Horizon

The Northstar Horizon is an American 8 -bit computer that is equipped with a Z80A microprocessor ( 4 MHz). The computer was manufactured by North Star Computers. For the first time the computer was brought to market in 1979.

The calculator supports the operating systems CP / M and NSDOS ( North Stars Disk Operating System).

NSDOS also contained a Northstar BASIC, a dialect of standard BASIC.

The computer was used especially in American universities, as it could be used especially well with its S -100 bus as an interface as a monitoring and control system for a variety of scientific experiments.
