Norwegian Players' Association

Norske Idrettsutøveres Sentralorganisasjon (often abbreviated NISO ) is a Norwegian athlete union. It represents particular athletes from the sports of football, ice hockey and handball. As a trade union is a member of the Landsorganisasjonen i Norge.

Background

After the first considerations at the beginning of the 1990s, the union was constituted on 1 July 1995 in order to represent the interests of professional athletes.
