Norwood Young America is a city in the U.S. state of Minnesota in Carver County. In 2000, the city had 3108 inhabitants. The town was founded by the merger of the municipalities and Norwood Young America on 1 January 1997.

Many community residents are of German descent, which is why for over 140 years, is held every year the Foundation Festival in August, a kind of small Oktoberfest with music in the beer tent and some attractions outside. For this purpose, a German brass band is flown annually.

Geography
