Nothnegal

Nothnegal is a Maldivian Melodic Death Metal band from Malé, which was founded in 2006.

History

The band was formed in 2006 by guitarist and singer and guitarist Hilarl Fufu, after they had left their previous band Mortuary. The cousins ​​tried different occupations from the band until their first EP Antidote of Realism was published on the Internet in 2009. The EP was produced by the Finn Anssi Kippo. In April 2009 the band received a fixed occupation, drummer Kevin Talley and after keyboardist Marco Sneck came to the band. Then began the work on the debut album. In 2010, the band went on a European tour with Finntroll and Rotting Christ. The tour included performances in 25 cities in 12 countries. This was Season of Mist aware of the band, what the debut album Decadence appeared in late January 2012.

Style

The band plays melodic death metal, reminiscent of the early works of In Flames and Dark Tranquillity.
