The Nottingham Trent University (NTU ) (English: Nottingham Trent University ) is a public university in Nottingham, England.

The roots of the University date back to the year 1843. Was founded in 1970 as Trent Polytechnic in 1992 before it got its university status. The university is one of the largest new universities in the UK with over 27,000 students.
