Nour El Sherbini

Nour El Sherbini ( born November 1, 1995 Alexandria ) is an Egyptian squash player.

Career

Nour El Sherbini won in their junior career with only 13 years as the youngest player in history in 2009 in Chennai, the World Youth Championship against her compatriot Nour El Tayeb. In 2012, she succeeded in Doha against Yathreb nobility, also from Egypt, the second title. With their third title win in 2013 in Breslau against Mariam Metwally it was record winner in the Junior Women. Since 2009 she has been active as a professional player on the WSA tour so far and won three titles. With the Egyptian national team it was 2012 World Champion. Her best in the world rankings they reached in February 2013 with a fourth place. As the first Egyptian woman, she reached the final of the British Open in the 2012 season, which they lost to Nicol David but smooth in three sets. 2013 they reached the final of the World Cup for the first time after they had defeated in the semifinals Nicol David 3-2. In the final, she defeated Laura Massaro with 7:11, 11:6, 9:11, 11:5 and 9:11.
