Nová Říše

Nová Říše ( German Neureisch ) is a market town in Okres Jihlava (district Jihlava ) in Kraj Highlands ( Highland Region ) in Moravia in the Czech Republic.

The municipality has an area of 785 ha and a population of 855 (as of 2005). Nová Říše is located about 30 km south of Jihlava ( German Jihlava ) and about 10 km southeast of Telc ( German Teltsch ) Okres in Jihlava. On 17 March 2011 the status was renewed as Městys.

Attractions

The most significant point of interest is founded around 1211 as a choir woman pin Abbey Ss. Peter and Paul the Premonstratensian canons and their church.
