Nová Ves u Nového Města na Moravě

Nová Ves u Nového mesta na in Moravia ( German Neudorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is two and a half miles south of Nove Mesto na Moravě and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Nová Ves u Nového mesta na Moravě located between the valleys of Bobruvka and Zátoka on a knoll in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village is part of the nature reserve PLA Zdarske Hills.

Neighboring towns are Jelínkův Mlýn, Nové Město na Moravě and Horni Dvůr in the north, Cinzndorf in the northeast, Olešná in the east, Křídla and Dlouhe the southeast, Radešínská Svratka in the south, Řečice and Tálský Mlýn in the southwest, Hlinné and Jámy in the west and Petro Vice in the northwest.

History

The village was probably founded in the 13th century at the time of Znojmo Castle Count Boček of Jaroslavice and Zbraslav. As this 1252, probably at the request of his deceased father-in Přibyslav of Křižanov founded the Cistercian monastery of Saarland, the place came to the monastic estates. After the abolition of patrimonial formed Nová Ves u Nového mesta na Moravě / Neudorf 1850 a municipality in the district Nove Mesto. 1885 began the construction of a new school building and 1890 was the road to Dlouhe. After the dissolution of Okres Nové Město na Moravě the community in 1947 associated with the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. In 1961 Křídla add a district. 1980, the annexation to Nové Město na Moravě.
