Nová Ves v Horách

Nová Ves v Horách ( German mountain Neudorf, formerly Rottendorf ) is a municipality in Okres Most in the Czech Republic.

History

1564 was the first written mention in Hamfescht, exhibited at the Brüx Hněvín Castle. The growing mining of ore and coal led probably to the founding of the church. 1585 Brüx castle was sold with all municipalities to Ladislav Lobkowicz. 1591 destroyed Bohuslav Lobkowicz the Protestant Church.

1599, 1611, 1613 and 1680 the plague depopulated the whole place. 1629 the village was zwangskatholisiert. During the Swedish military occupation in 1639 44 houses were burned. 1780-1784 a new church was built. 1846 the village had 121 houses and 961 inhabitants, in 1850 he formed a commune in the judicial district Katharinaberg. The 1916 finished church of Mníšek 1964 blown up.

In the 19th and 20th centuries, the population was mainly engaged in agriculture, timber industry and in the manufacture of toys. A large part worked in the mines in Saxony. After the end of World War II until 1947, the German population over internment, were in conformity with the Beneš Decrees distributed.

The Nová Ves v Horách consists of the districts Lesná ( charge ), Mikulovice ( nickel village), Mníšek ( Einsiedl ) and Nová Ves v Horách (Mountain Neudorf ) and the settlements Cervena Jáma ( Rothe pit) and Lniště ( flat base ). The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Lesná v Krušných horach, Mikulovice v Krušných horach, Mníšek v Krušných horach and Nová Ves v Horách.
