Nová Ves (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Nová Ves ( German Neudorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers northeast of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Nová Ves is located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) on the pond Vesnik. To the west rises the Křiblík ( 582 m) and in the southwest of Strážnice ( 583 m).

Neighboring towns are Dolni Libochová in the north, and Meziboří Borky in the northeast, Radňoves in the east, in the southeast Vidonín, Milešín in the south, Heřmanov the southwest, Bojanovský in the west and Horni Libochová in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1349 as the property of Henry of Osové. 1364 Jindřich was registered by Ronov as the owner of half the village in the country table and in the same year bequeathed Hynko of Osové the other half of the Ruček Hluboké. 1398 acquired the Lords of Pernštejna the place. Other owners were Václav and Hynek Radkovský. Over time, the village was extinguished after the 1617 Castle Rysová as Nová Ves Rysovská and later called Nová Ves Radkovská. In 1675, Nová Ves belonged to the rule Mitrov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Nová Ves / Neudorf was formed in 1850 a district of the municipality in the district Heřmanov Velké Meziříčí. Since 1882 there is the village Nová Ves. In 1947 Nová Ves to Okres Velka Bites and after its dissolution at the beginning of 1961, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

In 1989, the traditional procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Vidonín about Nová Ves was resumed after Heřmanov.
