Novelist (born 10 March 2009) is a Thoroughbred horse. The bay stallion was bred by monsoon from the Night Lagoon. With his victory in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes caused novelist just a year after Danedream for another German victory in this after the Prix de l' Arc de Triomphe, Europe's most important horse races.
Novelist comes from the famous alder Hofer N- line. His great-grandmother NaRoLa that with Amico Nostro myself had a starter in the German Derby in 2012, was still drawn by the Countess of Batthyány. The Night Mother Lagoon is the half- sister of the Derby runner- 2005, Night Tango, and was himself a successful on the race track horse. With wins including in the price of the Winter Queen (Group III ) they brought it anyway to a GAG of 92.5. Night Lagoon was covered consecutively from 2006 to 2008 three times from the German top sire Monsun, but except novelist could not provide their offspring on the track a beyond mediocrity better performance.
