Novi Sad Agreement

As an agreement of Novi Sad (including agreement of Novi Sad, Novi dogovor Serbo-Croat, less commonly: Novi sporazum ) is called a document of 10 December 1954, however, the self carries no such headline, but is overridden only with zaključke (Conclusions ).

Herein formulated eighteen Serbian and seven Croatian writer and linguist, a number of language policy principles. According to this Convention, which is named after the Serbian city of Novi Sad, were to be regarded as a language, the Croatian, Serbian and Montenegrin language. The Matica srpska and Matica hrvatska should therefore create a dictionary as well as the spelling of the Serbo-Croatian language.

The signatories included, among other things, Ivo Andrić, Mirko Bozic, Josip Hamm and Veljko Petrović.
