Nupoid languages
The nupoiden languages ( or shortly Nupoid ) form a subunit of the West Benue - Congo, Benue - Congo group of languages , which in turn belong to the Niger -Congo language family.
The ten nupoiden languages - except Igbira and Gade - are closely related to the Nupe; they are spoken by about three million people in West and Central Nigeria.
