NUTS of Slovakia
As NUTS: SK or NUTS regions in Slovakia are referred to the territorial division of Slovakia according to the European Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS).
Basics
In Slovakia, the three NUTS and two LAU levels are assigned as follows:
- NUTS -1: 1 - Slovakia
- NUTS -2: 4 oblasts
- NUTS -3: 8 Kraje ( regional associations )
- LAU -1: 79 Okresy (municipality circles)
- LAU -2: 2928 Obce (municipalities)
