Nuweiba

Nuweiba (Arabic نويبع, Nuweiba ʿ; letters in German also Nuweiba ) is an Egyptian port city on the Gulf of Aqaba in the Sinai Peninsula. Apart from a few hotels there before the Nuweiba bedouins beaches Tarabeen and Muzeina, so named after the respective tribe.

There are two ferries that run daily to Aqaba. They are used mainly by Arab truck drivers and travelers who are traveling by truck, bus or car from Libya and Egypt to Jordan and Syria, as well as the Jordan, and especially those of Muslim pilgrims on their way to Mecca and study tour groups, want to visit Petra.

The town itself grew out of the former Moshav Neviot that arose during the Israeli occupation of the territory after the Six -Day War in 1971.
