Nyala (Arabic نيالا Niyala ) is the capital of the Sudanese state Dschanub Darfur and the Sudanese largest city outside the capital region.

Location

The city is located in the west of Sudan, about 900 km from Khartoum just south of the Marra plateau and the local mountain Marra.
