Obereggen

Obereggen is a mountain village that belongs to the group of St. Nicholas / Harrowing of German community oven, and is located in the Dolomites at the foot of the Latemar. In Obereggen tourism is the most important economic factor. Above all winter sports, it is known for its ski resort, Ski Center Latemar. The Eggentaler Schupfenfest place since 2002 on the first Sunday in August.

The village itself has 93 inhabitants. The main source of income related to tourism, but also some farmers with livestock are still available.
