Object Naming Service

The Object Name Service ( ONS) is a distributed database for RFID systems according to the EPC standard. The ONS uses entries in the DNS to provide information on specific tags. About Naming Authority Pointer ( NAPTR ) records in the DNS references to Web services are provided with the information they seek. Multiple entries per day exist that are ordered in the response by relevance.
