Ocean Drive (band)

Ocean Drive is a dance project of producer Just Uman and Nicolas Carel, who had together with DJ Oriska several hits in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

Career

The two producers Uman and Carel met at a club in Miami and decided to form a joint project. They named themselves after the famous street Ocean Drive of Miami. Gilles Luka, formerly of Galleon, the singer of the project. 2008 came DJ Oriska that is at home in Paris, on the MySpace page of the project and created a remix of the song Some People who found many fans on the Internet. Thereupon, Ocean Drive and DJ Oriska merged officially and published the mix as a single. It became a Top 10 hit in France and sold over 200,000 times.

As a result, the four continued their successful collaboration. After the second single Without You ( Perdue sans toi ) even reached number 4 in the charts, they took together on a full album, which came into the charts as well.
