Ockelbo Municipality
Ockelbo is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Gävleborg and the old province of Hälsingland and Gästrikland. The main town of the municipality is Ockelbo.
Other towns are Åmot, Jädraås, Lingbo, Vallsbo and other smaller villages. Passing through the municipality, the main railway line between Stockholm - Ånge ( Norra stambanan ).
Geography
The municipal area is occupied by a wooded hill country with numerous lakes and wetlands.
Economy
The municipality is located in an area with traditional forestry and iron processing. Yet today, the community itself and the county council are the largest employers.

Coat of arms
In silver and green by fir, cleaved with three green pile made rings at the front and a silver hammer back. Since Daniel of Sweden, husband of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, grew up in Ockelbo is the heart of his shield coat of arms borrowed from the Ockelbos.
