Octave Mannoni

Octave Mannoni ( born August 29, 1899 in Lamotte- Beuvron, department of Loir- et- Cher, † 30 July, 1989 in Paris) was a French anthropologist, philosopher and psychoanalyst. He fought against French colonialism and was married to the child analyst Maud Mannoni. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Mannoni ".

He examined a distanced faith ( croyance ), a form in which one can only believe in something "half", such as to the Christ Child.
